To be fair he has reason to be. Once Roman kicks him out where is left for him to go, Madrid no, Barca no, Bayern no, Inter no, United, Arsenal, City no. He is on the way down if Chelsea boot him and it will be very hard to get back to the top.

Liverpool !! <laugh>:bandit:

Lol..You get points for adding the other two managers because you had to to justify an argument about one distasteful manager that has been shown for what he is.

Mourinho would NEVER come to us because he would need to be given a guarantee of success before he gets here. That's my point. My original point was that some get so blinded with despair they'd accept any dick waved in their direction.

We are prettier than that to follow the analogy.

As for your last sentence. "Serious situation" is being bankrupt. Being a Leeds. We were very close. We kept arrogantly thinking (some obviously still do) our "history" would make it all ok. It won't because this is a different era, different rules and we were ten years behind. FSG for all their faults in the football side have caught us up.

Like yourself I was watching during our glory years but I'll be damned if we start whoring ourselves out for a chance to get back to it.

I like you Jimmy, you stick to your guns. But you're becoming a little copy and paste due to your hatred of BR. And the fact you'd consider Mourinho appropriate for our club suggests that hatred has clouded your common sense mate.

You forget I'm not a pro Rodgers guy...I'm a anti, anything but Rodgers guy...we will end up in a worse mess if that's how we go about it....

You wouldn't accept Mourinho but I'm sure you loved Suarez who was found guilty of racial abuse and biting...

How can you not?

Morales come before anything else, the guy is a grade A ****! Appointing him is probably the only thing that would stop me watching Liverpool!

As mentioned above, we all love Suarez and would take him back in a heartbeat. Do or did morales and ethics come into question when we had him or if had the chance to have him back. I highly doubt it.

Being found guilty of something by the FA doesn't mean much. Especially in this week that they found the video evidence of Mourinho screaming sexist abuse at his doctor (and followed up in post-match with slanderous comments) proved he was innocent, and the use of the feminine form of the swear words was in no way connected to the only female on the pitch being directly in his line of sight.

Mourinho attempted to gouge the eyes of an opponent coach.

There, that's the two Suarez incidents MORE than cancelled out. So how do you now make up for all the other ****y **** Mourinho does?

Not sure why anyone thinks Rodgers will be gone soon. If you look at the other teams whose managers' positions have been questioned, they are falling short of expectations, whereas Rodgers isn't:

McLaren: would have been expected to finish near the top of the bottom half of the table
Sherwood: survival, preferably 15th or above
Mourinho: title challenge

None of these managers are on track to achieve expectations, whereas FSG / any neutral observer would expect Liverpool to finish in the top half of the table. They are currently 10th - bang on track.

Again, people keep saying that we need a DoF to help sort things out. DoF's are just like managers, ****, average or great. What makes anyone think one we employ would be any good? Only difference is that they'd be in the job and have less pressure on them than the manager would do.

Who would people get as a DoF who's a realistic target, would draw top talent and ensure we're playing attacking football?

A DoF is the one who will outline the strategy and philosophy for the club - they will be the ones who bring him players in line with how we want to play. It's to avoid us spending £32m on a big target man striker who is at odds with how we play for example. They will also ensure that we bring in a manager who is also in line.

As we all know, players and managers come and go frequently - a DoF is a long term appointment to ensure continuity and consistency with all comings and goings at the club so there is little disruption.

Who could we go for - Zorc at Dortmund would be ideal if Klopp comes in as coach, or Monchi at Sevilla. Both men are used to operating with a budget and developing extensive and large scouting networks, but also have the contacts in the game.

Players, managers and coaches are just a part of the structure - DoF is the top of that structure.
