De Boer is a big risk imo, winning in Holland is one thing but trying to get us back at the top is another, Klopp at least has taken on a big club in Bayern and still come out on top. Last season crash is a worry though.

Ancelloti is a great manager if we are thinking big he should be No. 1

Way I look at it is Klopp is Shankly and Ancelotti is Paisley.

We need a Shankly style manager now.

Before Shanks took the job he told the then board of directors that he would need total control over all football related matters at the club and wanted assurances that his targeted players would be bought or else he wouldn't entertain taking over as manager at LFC.
Can't see a repeat of that happening for any prospective new manager with FSG, if they stick to their current policies and methods they will become the problem and not the solution, its no good taking care of the businesses side of the club if the football strategy isn't working.

We need a DOF to make all the footballing decisions. The best managers in football today don't have total control and
Would be used to leaving things like player recruitment in the hands of others.

News today is Klopp wants to go to Bayern now....!!
Looks like the boat may have truly sailed now.

Agree with DoF.

So there are suggestions that he'll be gone by the end of this coming week. Whilst the guy who shared that info is usually correct, it makes no sense to me as to why anyone would keep on a manager who's doomed to be sacked in under a week. Surely he'd know and the team would probably play better without him there.

Anyway, here's hoping.

Choices and options: Ancelotti, Klopp, De Boer and Pako.
'Supposedly', we've made no contact with Klopp's agent, although he has recently spent time in the UK - no idea why, but we can hope.
Carlo 'supposedly' made contact with us regarding the possibility - but I remain doubtful on that, again, we can hope because I think he's a fantastic manager.
De Boer is the odds on favourite having openly admitted being keen on the job here, but it's a big step up from where he's at now.
Pako flies under the radar, but is well suited to us. I suspect he's under FSG's radar too though...

Sounds like it was a case of him or no one.... And let's be honest we'd all take the player instead of no one.

Anyone that has played FIFA or champ manager has always brought players in the first transfer window rather than settle for the team currently have.
And therein lies the problem with most of the younger generations of fans.
Play some games and suddenly everyone's an expert. <laugh>

He's such an ego maniac.
He deserves everything that's coming to him....special one my arse!! Lol...

He can manage great teams.
Build and develop he can't do.
Historically he's left aging teams behind.

Wait and see......!!

Well the big issue is the chavs will act fast and snap up Klopp or some other good option.
whereas we will keep record breaker Rodgers the unsackable f*ckwit

can understand him not giving any ground to the nay sayers but yeah, he's either a deluded tool or a liar if he doesn;t admit how ****e we've been of late and for much of his tenure, even Moaninho will tell it how it is as he did yesterday with his minus 1 comment

How's that Mourinho "telling it as it is" opinion working out for you?

Lol..no harm guys but if you'd asked the anyone but Rodgers lot in July would they swap him for Mourinho theyd have said "of course! He's a winner!"

Now we have a man who had on paper a team twice as good as ours, with an owner who will pay any wages asked for, a club that got players before us which was blamed on our committee......And they are six places below us.

Funny old game...just a reminder of be careful what you wish for.

Whilst Mourinho is having a very difficult season, let's not forget that this man has won 8 league titles, 2 CL's and a UEFA Cup in 10.5 years of management.
