Why thankayou. So Rafa has bean around a fair bit before us.

Klopp has done great with Dortmund, he appears to be a very good manager.. but this is new territory for him. It's the norm for Ancelotti, in fact he may see us as beneath his level of job <whistle>

I updated the post to include Rafa's overall totals at the time of joining us.

I never said they were identical btw, I said Klopp is similar to when Rafa arrived. Obviously, they've taken slightly different routes but they are/were of similar age and have/had similar reputations at the time of joining (potentially)

There's prob a better chance klopp wont turn is down, Carlo may.

If what Jimmy claims about keeping the committee is true then there is no way Ancelotti will join. Klopp apparently worked with something very similar at Dortmund

Wouldn't say it's the norm for Ancelotti either - he's usually been at very good club and he tweaks them to make them great.

This is a much bigger job which Klopp has proven he can do. He's younger, fresher and injects more enthusiasm and passion.

Either way, both have excellent credentials.

Pretty much every manager outside of the PL works in that set up. Including Ancelotti. <ok>

Managing top clubs is the norm for Ancelotti is what I was saying

Anyone feel a bit sorry for Danny Ings?

He's come in and made his debut under a cloud and has done pretty well - scoring in his first derby!

Fair play to him!

I think he'll be more concerned about his position atm tbh, like all the players should be bar Coutinho

Don't get me wrong - his credentials are excellent and I would definitely have him.

Just feel this club needs a Klopp - someone with balls, spirit and passion to get us back to a high level.

I've mentioned it before - Klopp is a Shankly, Ancelotti is a Paisley.

I was thinking the same.

I hope he gets a fair crack and not be overlooked just because he doesn't have a fancy name.

I'd play him ahead of Benteke for sure.

He deserves a run in the team.
