If Lewandowski signs then Gomez is off. Mandzukic is very similar to RL and much the reason for Bayerns success this season. Greater workrate than Gomez and a more complete forward, very involved in the build up play, something Gomez hasn't been. I think RL and Mandzukic are to similar and if Gomez leaves it will lessen Bayern' options imo.
Robben of 2012 would have been sold, Robben of 2013 will be kept if Pep needs him. Can not remember having seen such a change in style and workrate from a player of Robben's age. Remarkable is the only word I can put on it.
Tymoschuk' contract is up and will leave. Luiz Gustave have been linked away and could leave, Arsenal a possible destination.
In 17 year old Danish midfielder Pierre Emile Hojberg Bayern possibly possess the biggest midfield talent in Europe, alreadt set the record for youngest ever player to have played for Bayern. Kroos could be moulded in the Schweinsteiger role, leaving Goetze, Ribery, Muller, Shaqiri and Robben to fight it out for the three places behind the striker. Heynckes has adopted a rotation policy this season with great success, because of a stronger squad than in the past. None of the profiles will leave just because of Goetzes arrival, the signing fits into the rotation policy.
The club will look for a new centre back to replace the ageing Van Buyten this summer. Boateng with to many brain freezes at defensive set pieces to be trusted. Needs strong competition for his place to remain focused. Badstuber coming back from injury will compete with signing of the season, Dante.
