Can't believe anyone who is interested in football hasn't heard of Boca Juniors or River Plate. Same as I'd be surprised at Argentinian fans who hadn't heard of Man Utd or Real Madrid.

Just for those who were una ware of the htem a couple of videos. first one is Boca at home to river Plate and the second one is Boca fans lighting up the night away at River Plate.

I wonder what John Cooper would make of that? I can just imagine some of our fans in the middle of that lotcalling over stewards to complain they'd paid for a seat and expected to be able to sit down and see everything. Appears there aren't many who can't stand up for long, or women and kids who get frightened at too much noise like we have.
Oh for an atmosphere like that at the KC.

That's even more weird than hearing of neither! How can you hear about one without the other!? <yikes>

How come it mentioned Argentinian football? He's never played there, has he? Isn't he in Brazil, at Flamengo these days?

Maybe not exactly what's going on, but yeah, pretty much everyone knows that Boca and River Plate are the giants of the Argentinian league and would be shocked to hear this news.

Always makes me laugh when you see 'Famous Hull City Fans' in an away programme, and alongside Omar Sharif and John Prescott is 'Basil Brush'. <laugh>

I don't know, I think we'll just disagree on this one. I think if you stopped 100 city fans outside the KC, only 50 would have even heard of River Plate. It's all about European football these days.

BTW, I know who River Plate are, I was just raising the point.
