Fine example of a team performance. On the otherhand Barca, victim of Messi dependencia. In fact, I've always thought that Messi has ruined the individual careers of Villa and Sanchez. No wonder Ibrahamovic was critical of the whole system there. I just hope the same doesn't happen to Rooney and Chicharito because of Fergie's love for vanPersie. We've seen another example at Spurs, where Adebayor has turned into a new Heskey, and Defoe is just a supersub.

Barca will be back. They have some top quality players and there is no way they will stay down for long. You don't win La Liga by so many points and reach six CL semi-finals in a row unless you have something about you.
Saying Baraca are over is a bit like saying Man Utd are because they didn't get close to the semi's, bit of a joke really!

Their manager, the new manager that just took over has been away a lot getting cancer treatment and they just lost a brilliant manager in Pep.To be winning the league as they are, though admittedly Madrid are not so great this year, and getting to the semi and going out to easily the best side in Europe in Bayern aint bad surely, and Messi obviously not nowhere near 100%. Never mind that they have been a brilliant team for a good stint, even before Pep before when crazy Frank was at the helm. I detect just a little bitterness
Not bad for a team with a **** defence and no manager for chunks of the year, remind me how many times you lot breached their ****ty defence in both finals and 360 minutes of football even with Ronaldo in one of those games?
To fix a problem you have to accept there is one, and Barca haven't done that.
In 2010, Bayern went into the final with injuries to key players and barely mustered a shot on goal. Since then they have taken huge strides to bring balance to the squad and add depth. They are now reaping the rewards. Since 2010, Barca did the opposite and the 2011 win papered over the cracks that were there.

No team is perfect and Barca are no different, however I disagree that were just papering over the cracks. They had (and still have) one of the best teams the world as ever seen. Sure their defence could be better but the old moto of 'the opposition can't score if they don't have possession' still stands. However, after getting battered 7-0 by Bayern, I fully expect they will look at themselves and see how they can improve. Now is the time for them to re-access IMO
Gutted. Why can't games end nice and comfortably rather than put you through the wringer for 90 minutes?
Can't believed they survived their cataclysmic bottling at the end there (and in their last few games), but they did well over the season and they were good fun in the PL last time round so i'm pleased for them. The whole drama reminded me a little bit of last season title race.
The fact you had the chance at all was a miracle in itself given the situation a few games ago, Time to wheel out the "it's the hope that kills you" line i guess. Impossible task to get the team up for the play-offs after that?
