tbf, Arsenal and Spurs are two teams I just can't cheer on. No matter if they're the only ones left. I presume you wouldn't be able to cheer on Liverpool too and vice versa. Apart from that I always want the English sides to progress as far as possible, helps the coefficient and makes it more exciting to watch. I agree that Arsenal were brilliant tonight though, have to applaud them for that. However I hope you're wrong about it giving them a boost for top 4 <laugh>

Haha true, didn't really think about that... Wouldn't be able to support Liverpool or Man City, but don't have to worry about that in the knock-out phases too often nowadays <laugh> It's funny how they were were missing their star midfielder Wilshere, Podolski and had Fabianski making his first appearance this season (I think), and managed to beat Bayern on their own patch. If they manage to build some consistency on it now it'll make the last few games exciting for the champs league places but I do still consider Chelsea the stronger side

still crying about that? ****ing get over it. you can't complain about torres supposedly getting away with it vs you last year and then whinge about nani being wrongly given his marching orders <doh>
Torres one didn't harm your title race . Nani decision meanwhile cost us probably us winning CL and about 20m money wise

True that, but I still don't think any of them are reds. Accidents happen and in football **** happens, just have to move on.

Although I think Shwan is just feeling a sense of injustice due to the lack of consistency being shown.

that .. <ok>
in fact among 50-100 of similar challenges in CL this season, only UTD get red for it

erm yes it did. We went on a considerable slump from that game onwards, besides it was a decision that apprently favoured us and went against you so you clearly haven't the foggiest what I'm talking about.

Are you referring to Torres' 'dive' or his studs in Cleverley's chest? The 'dive' was a poor call from the ref, but the studs in Cleverley was a far worse challenge than Nani's. The rule explicitly differentiate a reckless high boot from a lunge at a player with studs showing.

Pointless to argue it, but equally pointless to try and justify it by equating it to a different situation. Refs make mistakes. If you want to win trophies and succeed in the league you have to deal with that.

why did you want them to win anyway, their next EL game is after the replay so it wouldnt have made any difference but congrats to all 3 English sides tonight.
Because I love them. :emoticon-0115-inlov

Nah..The more games they have the more chances they'll **** up.Manuel ain't juggling all them eggs :emoticon-0105-wink:

Yes the studs. How exactly was it far worse? It was the same thing.unless you're seriously telling me that Orres meant to stud Cleverley in the chest in which case <doh>. Wasn't a red, neither was Nani's.

the slump continued even this season .. nothing to do with us .. your team and manager were and still not good enough.. beside it was a red anyway as Torres was facing the player yet still took the risk, Nani thought he was free to get the ball which is his right, he didn't seen the player coming from behind
