Everton good value for this lead, it could and should have been one more. Hope they get another as City are having one of their **** days. If it stays at one though I see City equalising at least.
And it's two!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Epic. Straightforward scenario then, we win tonight and we win the league. No way would City come back from 15 down.
Great result Everton,, but can you imagine if at the end had that decision with the handball we wouldn't hear the end of it. But as its Everton and against one of the bigger clubs it will be forgotten about.
Dont forget the disallowed goal for Everton, balances out the penalty a little bit. I think that was a fair result. We'd have to try pretty hard to throw this title away now.
hhh so what? it change nothing .. still a red card and a good side don't collapse just bcz of one game you moron .. is that a character of a good club nowadays? if you were good enough one game should had changed nothing .. you just played some easy sides at start and that is it .. your team is still sh!t
YOU were the one who brought up how it affected you. You lot seem to think because Torres apparently should've been given his marching orders, that it excuses Clattenburgs ****ing woeful performance. We were the best team in the league up until that point. Nani and Torres' challenges were identical, both deserved yellow Now stop moaning re Nani.
Only difference I see is that Nani's victim is just facing in a better position to get kicked from. Identical in the sense that they're both reckless and both yellows, nothing more nothing less. also camberwick green class.
Well no, Torres goes in facing him full on and can see perfectly well what he's about to do. And does it. Nani is watching a ball dropping over his shoulder and sees his victim last second. They result is the same but the challenge isn't. The resuting cards were the wrong way round in my opinion but depending on the ref either could have ended up with either card. I think we were unlucky against Real but I wasn't remotely surprised when he gave it.
agree re nani, but I still think Torres means no harm. Not denying it was worse by any means but definitely not a straight red.
You actually took those words out of my mouth! Hilarious. Knives are out for Rodgers on their board, I wonder how their super dooper world class duo of Suarez and Saint Steve of G played today?
i'd like to see some comments just after they played spurs compared to those just after playing saints.
Sorry in which planet both challenges are identical? Nani never seen the player, so he is entitle to raise his leg trying to get the ball .. Torres meanwhile seen Cleverly yet decided to raise his leg regardless if he hurt the guy or not... it is the same difference between a driver who suddenly seen a kid pop out from nowhere chasing a ball (with no time to avoid him) .. and another driver who despite seeing the kid with enough time to avoid him, yet decided to keep going and run him over regardless
