That was utterly ridiculous, yes. UEFA, FIFA, Premier League, whoever, do not give one single **** about match going supporters. They care about telly clappers.
Couldn't care less where it's played, it's now no more than a pre season friendly. When they start putting league or actual cup games in the middle east or USA is when we've got a problem.
Just thought I'd mention this as it couldn't have happened to a nicer bloke. Pogba goes to Juventus. Gets injured, out for the season. Juve docked 15 points for skullduggery. Currently in 13th place and expected to lose all their best players in the summer (except no chance anyone will want him). This is karma at its best. I hope you're happy Poggers as you watch what's left of your career disappear down the toilet.
Wouldnt ****ing surprise me at this rate! We just bid £105m for a player Benfica bought last August for £10m, because he scored a decent goal in the world cup......
Goodness! What do you plan on doing with all your players? It just puts immense pressure on a manager who is already feeling the strain.
**** knows. Our new owner is a helmet. Its good he is showing ambition, but its scatter gun to ****! Hopefully one or more of these signings will work out, but its a ****ing gamble, on such lengthy contracts too
This is a strange one, a lot of Argentine players are being rated highly because of the world cup, but take out Messi and the goalie on pens, I didn't think they were all that. Not even Alvarez or Enzo.
I dont think any team was overly impressive to be honest, it was a bit of a "meh" World Cup, given it was held at Christmas, and most of the usual, strong international sides aren't all that at the moment. England actually had a semi decent chance of winning it. Rather than who is best, it was more case of "Who is less ****?" Even the eventual winners lost their opening game to Saudi Arabia ffs
Dunno, I thought it was decent world cup. It was, however, instantly forgotten, what with Christmas then club football restarting. Can't even remember half of it. Argie players' prices definitely inflated as result, good job we got hold of their best player in the summer. As for England; best team in it badly managed (as usual) If we don't win the Euros he's ****ing toast, surely.
The best team in it badly managed could equally be applied to Brazil. Dancing idiots with silly haircuts. They genuinely thought they could win it with six attackers and Casemiro. He's good, but not(quite) that good!
They danced as though they had won the tournament. It was pathetic to watch and disrespectful to the rest of the teams. Best part of the tournament was watching Neymar and Ronaldo cry like entitled b*t*s! Overall, I thought it was a great tournament. Fully entertaining! It also showed the distinction in the quality of football at club level versus the high level of an international tournament.
