Excellent result for Liverpool today but it was a ****ing awful game to watch. I fell asleep just before half time and Sunderland had had a man sent off by the time I woke up on 55 mins! Markovic was very good, I think he's played well most times I've seen him play. Balotelli is just a joke now. I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion that he's not actually very good at playing football!

Just seen Everton's goal. Yet another Joe Hart clanger. He's a decent keeper but City and England continue to kid themselves by pretending he's top class.

Just watched the City game, and once again there terrible goalkeeper Joe Hart lets them down.

He dropped the ball earlier in the game from a slight knock, and was lucky the referee blew the whistle. A decent keeper wouldn't drop the ball in the first place, from a slight bit of contact.

The Naismith Goal though was another big howler from Hart, when will City finally lose patience with Hart. He really is a very average keeper who shouldn't be playing in a top 4 side.

I really don't understand why he is so highly rated when he makes mistake after mistake

The RS are like last season getting more and more help from the refs. A real dodgy sending off of a Sunderland player to help the RS. And a RS player should been sent off too with 2 clear yellows.

Even when playing with the refs favour and against 10 men the RS were clinging on to a 1-0 win.

Will be very surprising if with all this help the RS are not challenging for top 4 even with a really **** team. <ok>

Delusion master, talk about desperation, calling for Cout to be sent off after they kicked the ball at him twice on free kicks to try get him booked.
I mean it's not like the ref ignored smalling swatting the ball in the area and gives no peno is it. :D

WTF has a Smalling handball got to do with a game between Sunderlabd and Liverpool? Why do Dippers always feel the need to point at other clubs and mutter "but but but no fair" whenever they get a ref who buys into their gamesmanship?

Calm down calm down, otherwise you'll be tagged and put in the same kind of institution Fistian currently resides.

Great result today, awfu awful game but great result. Smalling should have got a hand to that tho:D
Was he trying to undress the Southampton striker today or somthing?

Sushi, again avoiding seeing the obvious referee bias towards the RS. Clinging to a 1-0 against 10 man is not a good sign is it? <laugh>

Yes and before you say it, United has been as **** this week end. But the referees have started doing what they did last season in favouring the RS.

In Smalling's defence, Pelle is a handsome fellow.

Didn't know where else to put this but the Henry advert for Skysports gets more and more cringeworthy every time I see it.

"Do better, think better, be better, eat better, drink better, fart better....... and that is how I will die." Get t' **** you eejit! <laugh>

Would still make it the second highest deal in the country.
    So every club is small?

l'Arse get £30m a year from Emirates, and City £40m a year from Etihad

Both include ground sponsorship, but the shirt will be the biggest aspect of the deal. Tho' City's is with their owner, so not really an objective deal.

Interesting that you're having trouble pulling it off - would've thought you'd be able to bring in £25m without much trouble given the current market for sponsorship in football.

Yup, so that doesn't apply, as this is a shirt deal only.
I am more concerned about which logo is on the shirt to be honest, seeing as I am going to have to rock the T-Shirt all year :)

Doesn't mean it's not entirely comparable.

Bayern earn about 8 million Euros a year from Allianz, and Arsenal got about £6m a year from Emirates when the shirt and stadium deals were separate. So on that basis your new deal will be slightly higher than the shirt element of Arsenal's.

Could be said to be fair based on current market rates, although a bit surprising that you can't get much more than l'Arse given how much more successful than them you've been recently.

Doesn't Turkish Airlines have some weird red bird / dove thing as its logo? That'll go great with Chelsea blue ;)

Hopefully we can get £25m which will be more than Arsenal and Liverpool (£20m).

Does that make us bigger than Liverpool and Arsenal now? <laugh>

Real's shirt deal with Fly E is only 30m euros a season
