I actually said "other teams" and Chelsea are another team.

AKCJ's back. Great.
West Ham 1-0 up. Apparently when they scored, "the roof came off".
I hope not, I helped pay for the bloody thing.

We go again.
The new season starts this evening with Fulham v Newcastle. The Geordies are 4/7 to get promotion and have spent heavily. Personally I think they'll win the league.
Newcastle and Portsmouth to win their divisions in a double, is a good bet.
Newcastle's team selection looked wonky to me and they left out some of their better players.
Gayle and Perez doesn't look like a natural pairing up top and neither of them are any good at holding the ball up.
Shelvey was on the bench, Mitrovic was banned for his disgraceful foul against us and Sissoko's waiting for a move.
They need to shift a few more on and pick up some replacements, if they want to guarantee promotion.
Don't get me wrong, they've got enough quality to be up there at the end of the season.
Benitez is a very good manager and some of their players are easily Premier League quality.
They went down for a reason, though and the likes of Dummett and Colback aren't what they need.
Yeah, it's a tough, physical, demanding division and you have to have players that are willing to graft every week.46 games playing twice a week many times against teams who make up for a lack of skill with energy, organisation and physical strength makes the Championship a very demanding league. There are big teams with relatively big name players and big squads in the bottom half of the division. Quality counts, but only alongside players who can do the hard graft. Newcastle didn't seem to have enough fight to cope with the demands of the PL, so it's hard to see how they will manage a more gruelling schedule - unless Benitez recruits a few players who are battled hardened at this level. Burnley showed how to do it. They were competitive in every game, but had they had the pace/consistency of Gray and the nous of Barton. Brighton got the mix right too.
