At least we now understand why Leicester are irrefutably the most attackingest side ... in the world (TM) . Someone must have written they had the best attacking performance in one week of PL fixtures. Guess who read "one" as "every" ...
He's like all the ones we've had before. Pops up giving it large when his side are doing ok, then disappears when it all turns to **** again....

West Ham 1-0 up. Apparently when they scored, "the roof came off". I hope not, I helped pay for the bloody thing.
Bayern have agreed to pay the €21m clause in Kingsley Coman's loan deal. That completes his move from Juve to the Germans. Utter no-brainer. Swansea have agreed a fee with Sevilla for Fernando Llorente, having sold all of their ****e strikers. I thought Paloschi had something about him, but he rarely played. Eder and Gomis? Not so much.
I found it quite amusing how roughly 10,000 of the west ham fans up and left with 5 minutes still to play. They were probably Charlton fans who'd been paid to fill the stadium as part of the club's latest Evening Standard sponsored rent-a-crowd scheme.
We go again. The new season starts this evening with Fulham v Newcastle. The Geordies are 4/7 to get promotion and have spent heavily. Personally I think they'll win the league. Newcastle and Portsmouth to win their divisions in a double, is a good bet.
Newcastle's team selection looked wonky to me and they left out some of their better players. Gayle and Perez doesn't look like a natural pairing up top and neither of them are any good at holding the ball up. Shelvey was on the bench, Mitrovic was banned for his disgraceful foul against us and Sissoko's waiting for a move. They need to shift a few more on and pick up some replacements, if they want to guarantee promotion. Don't get me wrong, they've got enough quality to be up there at the end of the season. Benitez is a very good manager and some of their players are easily Premier League quality. They went down for a reason, though and the likes of Dummett and Colback aren't what they need.
46 games playing twice a week many times against teams who make up for a lack of skill with energy, organisation and physical strength makes the Championship a very demanding league. There are big teams with relatively big name players and big squads in the bottom half of the division. Quality counts, but only alongside players who can do the hard graft. Newcastle didn't seem to have enough fight to cope with the demands of the PL, so it's hard to see how they will manage a more gruelling schedule - unless Benitez recruits a few players who are battled hardened at this level. Burnley showed how to do it. They were competitive in every game, but had they had the pace/consistency of Gray and the nous of Barton. Brighton got the mix right too.
Yeah, it's a tough, physical, demanding division and you have to have players that are willing to graft every week. Complacency will kill you and the faint of heart would be better off elsewhere, frankly. There's always a place for the skillful and a goalscorer, though. Taarabt showed that a few years ago.
Arsenal Liverpool looks very interesting, with Arsenal resting Ozil, Koscielny and Giroud, and Liverpool coming off a shock preseason win over Barcelona. Hmm, a 4-0 win with 30% possession.
Enjoyed the game between Forest and Burton (home of my favourite beer.Bass on draught!).4-3 to Forest. Thought Burton were a little unlucky to lose it.....and Forest have a star forward in the making......
Take your hands out of your pockets Mourinho when you walk out at our national stadium. Ignorant git.
