Only 7 replies on the Sunderland away thread on the Chelsea board, what's gone wrong over there?

Mixed emotions after today's set of results. As others have mentioned it is so frustrating that teams only seem to turn up or go missing when it is least helpful to us. Nonetheless lovely to know that West Ham won't be playing CL football, and probably no EL either in their new stolen stadium. Also nice to see Sunderland on the brink of survival; even if Fat Sam is a pillock, I've got a lot of time for their fans and they have so many of our ex players up there it's impossible to hate them.

As for Chelsea, I can't even type what I'm thinking right now as it might get me banned from this website, if not from the Internet in general. They are everything that is wrong in football, contained within one bigoted, corrupt and classless club.

Newcastle only have themselves to blame now if we relegate them - how the f can you be held to a clean sheet by Villa?! Norwich are gone - to big a gap with too few games remaining.

I'm really hoping the players put in one last shift tomorrow as a proper send off to the fans who have been fantastic all season.

glad we lost that tbh would love to get rid of Rafa for the PLs sake..

cant wait till the euros to have something to believe in tbh..

Great set of fans. Class way to think about a manager who rescued their last disaster season from oblivion and won them the Europa League <doh>

Sam a pillock ? Why ?

Sam's done a good job at almost every club he's been at, often with limited resources, and he's often been treated very poorly by club owners. I also have a soft spot for him even if the football his teams play isn't the sort I'd like to see at Spurs.

Regularly has sly digs at us in his press conferences. Did it at Spam and has done it a few times at Sunderland, plays a terrible brand of football and believes himself to be more capable than he actually is. I get that people appreciate the 'not afraid to say it like it is' aspect of him, but it doesn't wash for me. He is a relic of a rapidly receding era of the game.

I find him so tedious ... his moan about the Kane penalty sums him up to me. He admits it was a penalty, complains that the ref was conned by Kane, says it was only given cos spurs were at home and then again admitted it was a penalty.

He did the same kind of stupid post match interview after they lost to us at their place last season...moaned about them having a player sent off cos of a bad decision but ignored that we had one sent off 40 mins which was a poor decision.

Absolutely. And his comments following our game against Chelsea were completely unnecessary and uncalled for - knowing full well as anyone with a brain did that Sunderland would be facing a home fixture against a completely different Chelsea team (I use that phrase loosely) to the one we faced. (http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36217711). He always seems to have these kind of comments stored up in his locker to have sly digs at teams who play a better brand of football than his sides do, which is pretty much everyone from Leicester down to York City,

I don't really concentrate on those things, if you dislike everyone who engages in a bit of gamesmanship there wouldn't be many people left to like in football.

Guess so but to me gamesmanship is one thing but I find him graceless whether he wins, loses or draws.

Perhaps I don't get annoyed because I don't really listen to anything any manager or player has to say pre or post-game. I find all the cliches and footballisms completely unbearable. This might also be why I find plain-speaking Sam more palatable than others.

what oblivion? second in the league by a few points, in the domestic cups, and still in the international club cup or whatever its called?

by the time rafa was done we were sweating to finish 4th, out of the carling cup, out of the world club cup, out of the fa cup, and generally playing **** football.

i'd say it was my worst point as a chelsea fan-im only in my mid twenties mind...but this year has usurped it in being my most ****ty season to date.
