what oblivion? second in the league by a few points, in the domestic cups, and still in the international club cup or whatever its called?

by the time rafa was done we were sweating to finish 4th, out of the carling cup, out of the world club cup, out of the fa cup, and generally playing **** football.

i'd say it was my worst point as a chelsea fan-im only in my mid twenties mind...but this year has usurped it in being my most ****ty season to date.
Well, you are so lucky to have missed the Chelsea's of the past!......and your grandfathers may have been "the Chlsea Boot Boys" of the late 60's early 70's.Wonder where they are today.....?

We still need a point at the Toon to secure St Arseoles Day!!...... :emoticon-0107-sweat

St Arsehole's day, like St Totteringham's day, can only happen if it becomes mathematically impossible for them to finish above us prior to the last fixture of the season. The fact that they've been as ****e as they have and yet could still finish above us is frankly embarrassing. As far as I am concerned, we have underperformed this season. See my rant on the match thread for further details <laugh>

I agree with your comments above and your rant!! <laugh>
We should have finished this season on a high and the loss of impetus despite having so much to play for has been very disappointing. The potential for this team is immense, but it could have already achieved so much more.
Just hope that the development continues next year.....

Blimey - I didn't know there was a detailed specification.
Anyway whatever happens it's not embarrassing to get our highest every finish in the PL.

If that does happen, I fully expect your rant to end like this...

Yeh, I was obviously aware that he was behind it, but what a crazy decision! I can only think it was personal as De Bruyne would walk into the majority of club first teams on the planet.
That photo sums up Moronho pretty well I think: obnoxious while making the focus all about him.

I can only guess that De Bruyne only scored 6/10 for intimidating officials, which is not good enough for him.

It is possible that De Bruyne isn't a good team player. If you had asked anyone at the beginning of the season there would have been 9 or 10 City players who we would have thought as an upgrade on our first team. I'm not sure I'd want any of them now.....
