Well, the City's fans were led to believe they would win everything this season, even the boatrace if they'd entered it.So I can understand their frustration. Spurs, however, weren't expected to challenge. When they did,we kind of got caught up with the posabilities until we screwed up at the end. I believe Spurs idea was to score more goals than the other team while Leicester went on the field knowing if the other team didn't score it would be at least 0-0. Who was right..........?
I would just remind you that our current TEAM have done better than our Bale team, which was in danger of becoming a one man band. I would always take the team over the stars any day. Do you need reminding of Leicester? DeBruyne has baggage Augero has injury issues, we don't need them. And City finished where? I said it before but all those years ago when I played we had one stand out player who diminished our performances when ever he played. This years PL season has been a lesson in team over stars and yet still people are seduced by the fancy dans.
I fancy us to do well again. Can only see us improving on this season and with a couple additions to the side, it has huge potential to achieve great things.
Am I really getting both excited and nervous about a game which could go a long way to ensuring 4th place? 4th? That used to be practically mid-table.
Going to be tough. West Ham won't want to leave their ground with 2 defeats in a few days. Don't know what happened to them Saturday, but they have been a good team this year. Best PL performance against us I'd say.
Leicester have three stand out players, without whom they're not the same. In order of importance, for me, they are Kante, Vardy, Mahrez. Yes, Leicester are a good team and the team has got them where they are. But without those three, I seriously doubt that they would be champions now. I would still find space for either of the two City players mentioned. They are both world class. And unless they have personality 'issues' that may disrupt team spirit, they would enhance any team.
Remember how the papers have spent ages linking Mats Hummels and Renato Sanches to Man Utd? Looks like they won't be doing that for a few months...
That's not so unlikely, if we keep on improving and Klopp has already got things going for Liverpool. Whatever happens it's bound to be an interesting season, with a very busy potential top 10.
Arsene Wenger needs Man Utd to win tonight, Sky Sports News understands. That will put his precious CL slot under threat, thus ensuring he gets the adrenaline burst to drive his team to not lose to Villa.
Well I for one will be cheering you on. I could do with cheering up after the Soton result, and seeing West Ham's faint CL dream die in their last game at Upton Park is the perfect tonic.
Good grief. The West Ham chairman looks ridiculous, a stupid orange tie and now we have Tony Gale wearing blue shoes. What a bunch of chavs.
