You have to feel for Villa. They've been in terminal decline for years whilst comparitively smaller clubs running on smaller budgets have passed them by on the roadside. How many teams will have been PL-permanents once they're down? Just the 5?

Not that bothered to be honest, the result won't do anything to boost their morale after a shocking performance and it means that their fixture list remains clogged heading out of the transfer window.

Six, I believe. Us, Arsenal, Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea and Everton.

I don't know anything about this player, but is he one who can reasonably command that kind of wage?

Chelsea back to their standard FA Cup result and they even got a dodgy penalty call in their favour.
Looks like all of the ****bags that couldn't be bothered to play for Mourinho are turning up again, now.
Ominous signs for the rest of the campaign.

They need results. More clubs should look at that and learn from it, in my opinion.
Something tells me that Swansea losing to Oxford and Villa failing to win another game isn't going to do them much good.
Getting wins against lower division sides would've been far, far better than a couple of days of rest, in my opinion.
 
Our 2nd XI drawing against Leicester's 2nd XI shows just how strong our respective teams are.
 
I see Liverpool have signed Caulker on loan. Not sure that's a wise move. Shame the way his career has gone.
