There's nobody over there to ban you, at the moment! <laugh>

There is that!

Irony is, that they got me back on the board to engage in the banter (that they all missed), but now that I'm back, I'm being forced to take the piss out of myself in order to generate any kind of atmosphere!

This Arsenal result is annoying in the sense that, irrespective of the fact that their group stage vacillated between average and shambolic, this crunch result will give them a mountain of confidence and a buzz to take carry them through until they get knocked out in the last 16 by decent opposition. Trouble is, that isn't until February, by which time they could well be riding the crest of this wave at the top of the PL table.

Can someone please explain why Olympiakos now need 3?

Because Olympiakos won 3-2 at the Emirates and so if Olymiakos score 2 it means head to head they are the same and Arsenal have a better GD.

On one hand, I'm glad that Arsenal scrapped through, because it now means that they're bound to come up against either Real or Barca and face another humiliating defeat. On the other hand, it means that I am going to feel soiled all over again, and I'm still feeling soiled from their embarrassment in the CL!

They could get Wolfsburg, Zenit, Real, Barca or Atletico. I assume they still can't meet City or Chelsea?

Avram Grant linked with the Swansea job.

Why? Do they want to get relegated?

As weeks go by, the more apparent it becomes that us missing out on LVG is the best thing that could've happened to us in recent history. If I remember rightly many of us had Poch down for like our 3rd or 4th choice candidate in terms of who we wanted to take over from Sherwood, whereas LVG was a big frontrunner or close 2nd, we were even led to believe at times by media outlets that LVG was set to take over up until Utd hijacked it and so it left a feeling of disappointment when we lost out on him. Yet it turned out an absolute blessing as we've now got a manager that I'd like think at least 95% of the club's fan base are fully behind and feel confident of achieving some form of success under.
Another reason to be thankful is that, due to the young players in our squad, his "motivational" tactics would probably have him on the sex offender's register: http://www.espnfc.com/story/875555/luca-toni-bayern-boss-louis-van-gaal-showed-us-his-balls

I think there is a plot afoot to fill the Prem with all of Chelsea's ex-managers.
