No doubt TalkShite will continue their "will Liverpool make it into the top 4" debate (which they have every season, usually wrongly), whilst the debate they should be having is "considering the money they spend and the refereeing bias in their favour, isn't it a disgrace that they don't get top 4 every season".

Seriously folks, it's a multi million pound business and the difference in quality among (most) PL teams is really not that much - just a few percent. I would suggest that a team that cost £300 million isn't 3x better than one that cost £100 million. And if that's the case then incompetent (or biased) refereeing makes a far bigger impact than the authorities or pundits will admit. And who gets all these dodgy decisions? They certainly don't get evenly distributed!

I think I'll block notifications for this thread until the Liverpool fans have finished giving it large for another thoroughly convincing win achieved without any help whatsoever from the assistants. Didn't even hear a peep out of the gooners after they scraped it against Palace.

Enjoy your new-look slow motion style of football <applause>

Liverpool have had two fortunate wins. As has been said, we played far better against Stoke until we fell asleep. Bournemouth deserved at least a point, but thanks to some 'friendly' officiating, got nothing.

I'm as convinced as ever that Brenda is a numpty and the wheels will start falling off fairly soon.

They are allowed to beat Arsenal at the weekend though.

Normally, I'd completely agree S.D. But as The mousers already have six points, perhaps a draw? With a few red cards and plenty of blood on the pitch? :emoticon-0116-evilg

yeah, ideally i want neither of them in the CL. Alas i can't see us getting there so i find myself semi supporting other half-decent teams.

The BBC rolling football news feed has asked people for their stories about poor refereeing decisions costing their team.
Clearly prompted by last night's debacle, it's funny how often the same clubs are popping up.
They're the same two teams that were once found to have fixed a match, by the way. Funny coincidence. <whistle>

In other slightly odd news, Bristol City have had a bid of £9m accepted by Brentford for Andre Grey.
Bristol City. Nine million pounds.
That's quite a big bid for us! <laugh>

This week? Thanks man, better than "he's always an idiot".

Anyway, lets get back to the question - How do Bristol City have £9m to spend on 1 player?
Must be all that prize money from winning the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Are they high? Gray has his moments but he really is a poor footballer overall.

For £9mill they should be investigated for money laundering, he's not worth half that.
