Why is Liverpool on this thread? We are not your rivals, as demonstrated by the 18 point gap and 9-0 aggregate score.

<doh>
You have just provided us with yet further proof as to why we so desperately need a "Mouser Watch" thread. Incidentally, and lest you fail to grasp the import of that thread, it's about the arrogance and delusion of you Mousers, not about LFC.

We finished 17 points above Liverpool a couple of seasons ago and 11 last season yet a Mouser wants to gloat about being 18 points(now 15) ahead? Yeah I'd say that sums up why Mouser Watch was created :D

I see everyone's getting giddy with the charge for Europey. Gonna be a tense battle between u and man united

You got lucky this season, next season the KAA upfront won't give your lot a chance.

We have to strengthen during the summer whether Suarez stays or not, but ffp rules mean we have to sell before we can buy so I expect a big change in squad personel in the summer.

Looks like you are at least gonna get an EL place but its been a noose around Spurs necks this season, I was hoping you'd consolidate 7th and build for next season which would've put the mancs in the EL qualifiers and mean they'd have to cancel their USA tour in the summer.

So thanks Spurs.<grr>

Didn't expect a serious reply :D

Do you really think that's the case regarding FFP? I never really understand how it works and if Chelsea can lose £40-60mill a year and still put in a big net spend then surely you guys can too? If you can't then it's good news for us, in my opinion you're still 3/4 players off having a big enough squad for the CL and PL.

"Do you really think that's the case regarding FFP?"

Nope. The question is whether UEFA call them on it the moment they cross the line.

We're ok with the FA ffp rules but not with Uefa ffp for one season(2010-2011)which will bite us on the are next year unless we cook/balance the books in the meantime, so we have to offload players before we can spend on improvement.

I think Spurs are well in the clear despite the money spent since Bale left, but here's an explanation of how it works and the difference between FA ffp and Uefa ffp.

Yeah, I've probably read that at somepoint in the past. I took a lot of interest in it initially but as you realise how much the fine print is getting exploited by the likes of Chelsea, City and others it just seems fairly pointless.

Good to know at least one club is having to watch their spending because of it though <laugh>
