And yet Arsenal commonly take a ton of touches in the box and had Henry playing for them, who defenders also couldn't deal with. Liverpool have still had more penalties.
Bale took plenty of touches in the box and defenders couldn't deal with him. He didn't get any bloody penalties! <laugh>

Suarez was my other reason. I have to admit I've been surprised by how many we've had. But unlike Arsenal who plod into the box and are predictable we've tend to hover around the outside and then dart in rapidly, it catches most defenders off guard. and as for suarez, (my second reason) just watch todays first pen as case and point, clueless hand ball as a result of suarez turning the defender inside out

Dodgy ref tried to make 2 wrongs a right!!

Don't hate the player hate the game.

I think that's about right. Taylor is a useless referee, he made a hash of the Spammers goal by overriding his linesman, and then compounded his ****-ups by giving you a penalty that never was.

How often do refs try the "two wrongs equals a right" in matches ??
The review panel should be punishing them for messing up the first one.

In unrelated news, Norwich have sacked Hughton. A shame, but I suppose not a surprise.

I've never been his biggest fan in terms of management and felt he held Norwich back but sacking managers at this stage is ludicrous, especially when they gave a wretched run of games coming up meaning even with Fergie as manager they would struggle.

They are still to play Fulham, Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal.
A Norwich statement said: (external) "The decision has been taken to give the club the maximum chance of survival."

I hope they get relegated.

How does sacking your manager 5 matches from the end of the season when you have a fixture list like that improve your chances of survival?

Who are they going to appoint? Houdini's dead.

So they've done a Timmy. But N months too late.
Can you imagine if he had been dealt a fixture list like Norwich have, for his first 5 games. :D

"Why is Liverpool on this thread?"

If you read the original post, you will see that any club that finishes below "small club"
Spurs in the PL for 4 consecutive seasons definitely count.

Why is Liverpool on this thread? We are not your rivals, as demonstrated by the 18 point gap and 9-0 aggregate score.

The thread was started in January 2012. If you have a quick look around, it's basically about any club other than Spurs.
