Well, there are, at least, two decent spankings to look forward to, tonight: one in Spain, and the other in Germany.

Don't think the Turks will spank the Chavs, because they have the home advantage, but I still think Chavs will lose.

I reckon the results will be:-

Barcelona 3 v £ity 1
Bayern 4 v Arsenal 0

Chavs 1 v Turks 2

I'm betting that Arsenal, yet again, will embarrass themselves and us, tonight.

Optimistic fella aint ya? :)

Also, why would you look forward to English teams losing in Europe?!?
I always want PL teams to do well in Europe, (except Liverpool who I want not to exist).
I can understand you not supporting Chelsea in 2012 CL final as that directly impacted Spurs, but for me, unless there are direct negative consequences for Chelsea I will always wish them well.

Fixed - The Goons play tomorrow, and City on Wednesday....Chelsea play next week. :) <ok>

Based on what? Hopefully more than your usual predictions for us in this comp because they have historically failed miserably!!

No I get it, its just about as funny as:

"You're gay.......only kidding! haha"

Pretty much what you said but Man Utd instead of Liverpool (obviously). Not too bothered either way with Chelsea.

When you say "us" i assume you mean the country as opposed to Spurs?

Yes. I am referring to "us" as Englishmen, embarrassed, yet again, by an Arsenal side that simply should not be playing CL footy.

I'm sure that you gentlemen will not need reminding of that other embarrassment, not so long ago, when Arsenal made themselves and us (as Englishmen) look like complete and utter twats, by being the worst opposition in the entire history of European football. I felt soled that night, and I am expecting to feel soiled, again, tonight.

Utterly shameful.

Lol what utter nonsense are you talking now? Which night did we embarrass England in Europe? Last year we went out on aggregate to the winners, the year before we went out on aggregate to barca, the year before that we went out the winners barca.

In the previous two years we have beaten barca and bayern in one of the two legs.

You may see it as an embarrassment but I love our nights in the CL, nothing better than watching your team play to he best in Europe. I'm sure you'll get another chance at it.... Lol.

English teams? The players are mostly foreigners!

Incontinence pants should help, because they'll be no soiling down to 'football tonight'. <ok>

Hm.

I rather get the feeling that the Gooners visiting this board really do not appreciate the spanking that their team is going to get, later on today.

None of us like to see an English side humiliated in Europe, especially me.

Trounced 0-2 on their own turf, do Gooners really expect that they are going to get anything other than an utter spanking in Munich?

I've bought myself a black arm-band, which I intend to wear tomorrow, to mourn the death of dignity in English football.

I know that you Gooners are having a dig at me and making fun of what I'm saying, but I don't take it personally. I know that, deep down inside each of you, there is a fear of what is to come. And if I can, in my very small way, offer you some solace, a modicum of distraction, I'm willing to be your fall-guy. That is the least I can do. The humanitarian in me wants to ease your pain.
