"There MUST be a player or two who are good enough for us to sign who puts his team before himself,
hovering below the PL waiting for his chance"

Quite a few I guess. The problem is that Spurcat cannot be everywhere at once to watch them. :)

  3. Well, it looks like Arsenal will finally win a trophy.

On a broader note, if Wigan can beat £ity, why do we get beaten 11-0?

I can see Citeh 606s everywhere developing the same unhealthy obsession with Wigan that
    Bubbles has/had. :)

Complacency by City, a manager at Wigan who had a real plan and the omission of various players by the home side with the Champions League in mind, perhaps? City battered Wigan earlier in the season.
An exceptionally dodgy red and penalty in one of our games didn't help, either.

That is no joke starting XI fielded by Citeh today.

No, not by any means, but they left a few players out and included Demichelis! <laugh>
Seriously, what has he done to merit his almost automatic inclusion in that side? He makes so many costly mistakes.

It probably didn't help that City chose to give some homeless bloke their manager's job for the day, no matter how well-intentioned the gesture may have been:

They could've at least put him in a suit or given him some new clothes. Where was Pellegrini?

Well that's 2 cups City have given up on and with the three points we gave up to Chelsea showing a white flag,City may be out of the PL too!
They all seem to think this CL is more important at the cost of everything else......and there's no guarantee they will win that.
If that is the case,I will think their (City's) season is a complete disaster....like ours!

The City v Chelsea game at the Etihad was the turning point. Chelsea had dropped points at home to West Ham whilst City had come in on the back of thumping Spurs at WHL. Mourinho tactically got the better of Pellegrini and Chelsea overran them in midfield and dominated the game more or less from the first minute to last. Since then Chelsea have gone from strength to strength whilst City have faded and lost confidence in their attacking play. Pellegrini also has no idea what his best side is and the defence looks suspect in every game.

It's City's to lose as if they win all their games there's nothing anybody else can do but whereas Villa (H), Sunderland (H), and United (A) may have been a formality 2 months ago, it certainly isn't now and even excusing those fixtures there's still Arsenal, Everton and Liverpool away to negotiate as well as banana skin fixtures like Southampton (H) and Hull (A).

Do you agree with Joses comments about it being theirs to lose when they have 3 games in hand rather then the points on the board?

Oh, come on! This is the usual crap from your manager. Everybody with half a brain knows he would rather have the points in the bag than the " potential" 9 points City may, or may not gain.

Any manager would rather have the title in their hands.

I'd rather have the title in our hands. City know what they have to do, we could win every game from now till May and not win the league,

If the 1997/98 season didn't teach people this I don't know what will.
