Or could it just be that Arsenal played well and showed a higher level of concentration than City and United did against Cardiff? Both teams took the lead but lacked focus at key moments. Cardiff are not exactly a team of world beaters, one win in their last seven and that was to their biggest rivals. They were never going to give Arsenal a game today if Arsenal showed up.
I think by now you may have read that I do not like Arsenal.In fact I hate the bums.So imagine,I'm flipping channels and on one the Cardiff v Arsenal match appears just as that Welshman scores for Arsenal.
Obviously I quickly flip the channels again!....
Which makes me wonder.....ok,at this moment Arsenal seem to be walking away with the PL.
Now what has Wenger done this season as he hasn't done in previous seasons for some time.Is it just luck that he has put a team together that is winning,while AVB is messing about with his team and can't get into a winning run?........
I have to admit,that was a good goal by Ramsey! I do like watching great goals whoever scores them.

I don't think they're running away with it but they've built up a gap to allow margin for error against Everton, Chelsea and City in December. The only team that's playing with a degree of consistency and confidence but lets not forget 07/08 Arsenal had won 13 out of their first 15 games and still didn't even make top 2.

Season defining month in the title race. Arsenal can't afford to lose them both, they have to take something from City who are the bigger long term threat at this moment in time.

When Wenger made the quote, what Wenger specifically said was that Bale wouldn't maintain a ratio of 1.29 goals per game (9 goals in last 7 games when he made the quote).
Wenger was correct.
"And at the moment he has a good conversion rate between the chances he creates and the goals he
scores. But that goes in cycles. No, he won't play like this forever.
"To maintain that conversion rate, which I think is the best in Europe, is very, very difficult."
That's the quote I'm referring to and no he wasn't right as he was attempting to suggest Bales rich vein of form was due to going through cycles but the form has continued through to Real Madrid and I suspect Bale will continue to produce one of the best goal ratios in Europe for many years to come.
At Spurs we never created a high number of clear chances for Bale so Bales goals mostly stemmed from his individual brilliance. Many believed he couldn't keep up the form and would flop at Madrid and doesn't deserve to be mentioned alongside Messi or Ronaldo, well Bale never listened and is proving people wrong.
I still find it hard to accept that Ronaldo and Bale can thrive in the same team unless Bale is prepared to play 2nd fiddle when Ronaldo plays.
But in Ronnie's absence, Bale is doing a good impersonation of him, although he's still some way short of being capable of taking on Sweden singlehandedly, away from home, quite yet - I think

That is definitely still a potential issue as Bale and Ronaldo could both have the ability to be free scoring in la Liga but is there room for two forwards scoring 34 plus goals a season, each, sure if they win 7-3 most weeks and judging some of the teams in Spain, it's not impossible but Bale is a goal machine, be that scoring or assisting.

1. Coasting along and then serious collapses
2, In danger of losing their place at the CL piggy trough and playing out of their
skins to save it.
That Wenger does not build a squad, or manage it well enough, to get the best of
both but without the worst, is the reason they have these perennial PL 4th place Cup end
of season showdowns with Spurs. Not because of Sugga Daddy FCs, debt burden of the
Library etc.

Just got in turned on the box and saw Huddlestone scoring. Hope he gets to keep the goal but I like the big 'fro, hope he grows it back
