We have about 6 of that "calibre" of player in the squad, already.

In hoping Lamela or Eriksen will be as good but right now Mata is a class above anything we have. He would walk into our first 11 and any other in the league.

With Bale gone Mata is head and shoulders above any player you have.
It's not a move he'd make or one Chelsea would entertain IMO.

Erikson, Lamela, Soldado, Townsend, Lennon, Lloris, Paulinho, Vertonghen, and Sandro are all at the same level as Mata.

He's right to be fair, Mata and Cech are significantly better than any player in either squad.
I see that after 60 minutes Chelski are level with Newcastle. I guess the ref mistake in Chelsea's favour, or the mistake by the Newcastle defence will come a bit later. When it does you can be sure that plaudits about how clever Mourinho is will follow from the fawning media.
Geordies are 1 up. Gouffran faded very quickly after a good start in January but he's back with that one.
