Which fans? Mata is the type of player Spurs could really do with but attracting that calibre of player is another matter. I still think Lennon is the key to unlocking Soldado personally.

I'm not sure yet HIAG! In hoping Lamela or Eriksen will be as good but right now Mata is a class above anything we have. He would walk into our first 11 and any other in the league.

With Bale gone Mata is head and shoulders above any player you have. It's not a move he'd make or one Chelsea would entertain IMO.
Erikson, Lamela, Soldado, Townsend, Lennon, Lloris, Paulinho, Vertonghen, and Sandro are all at the same level as Mata. He'd fit in like a charm.
