Very rare for me to go on another clubs site, but I have just been reading on QPR not606 where they seem convinced it's a done deal for Harry to go to Brighton. Seems most of them would be happy to see the back of him. I had read elsewhere he was the bookies favourite for the job, but I also read this morning that Brighton were interested in Tim Sherwood.

Yeah, I went on there after they were relegated and was surprised, I expected to see them all hoping he'd stay but they seem to favour clearing the decks on all levels and building themselves back up. One user who replied to me, mistakenly thinking I was being anti-Harry, said something along the lines of wanting "a young European manager" which seems to be the fashion these days. It's experience that will steady them and get them back up though. I'd be disappointed with Redknapp if he made such a sideways move, Fernandes has put a lot of faith in him and given him a lot of money to try and save them.

Brighton is a lot nearer home for him,at his age and driving to london every day, can't be fun

The drive along the coast is actually pretty grim. Very little motorway between Bournemouth and Brighton. mostly just dual carriage way constantly interrupted by single lanes through towns. Might be a longer distance to London but better roads. Transport links down here are ****e. But not sure Harry and Brighton are a good match anyway. Bit of a risk in some ways while being an experienced pair of hands in another. Tough decision for Bloom coming up.

Didn't Harry say he was off if he wasn't getting funds, I wasn't sure from that if Fernandez is not reading from the same page anymore, dunno? He's going to take such a hit on some of those players signed by Hughes thats for sure.

Taking a closer look at their site, it would seem they were supportive of Harry for a long whole, but what has really wound them up is his insistence on yapping to he media how he needs to get rid of the crap, yet at the same time is saying the squad is't good enough to finish in he top half of the championship. Taarabt must be worth a few quid to them, yet he has recently told the press he has been fined more than he has earned !!

That was always one of my main problems with Harry. He just doesn't seem to know (care?) when to keep his gob shut.

It never bothered me, in fact I found his media interviews quite entertaining. But I do appreciate why others did not. Mind you, listening to AVB send me to sleep.

Yeah, he mumbles. I can't understand half of what he says.

Unfortunately, criticising your own squad in public is not particularly good management, as far as I'm concerned. Harry really should learn to bite his tongue. Not going to happen now though, I suppose!.

Mark Hughes emerges as the leading contender for the Stoke job.

Well that's a real "change of direction".
