I never got the "logic" of putting aside differences for the good of the nation. Mainly because I was never into that whole Communism thing...

Benfica goal ruled out for marginal offsides. I haven't seen the replay, but the announcers were moaning about it. Is it just my imagination, or have Chelsea and Arsenal gotten gifts from the refs every single game for the last ten games or so? (To be fair, with the exception of Arsenal's win over Wigan, where I had no complaints.)
 
1-1 Benfica pen.

Not so lucky anymore, although they have already benefitted from a very harsh offside call for what should have been the opener for Benfica.
 
Townsend squirming to excuse Torres diving, "I think he's maybe gone down a bit easy", "I think he throws himself to the floor maybe just a little bit there". What a twat.

Maybe teams should have two managers every year like Chelsea as for the last two seasons it's won them a trophy. 92nd minute this time was it? Their luck holds but they'll take it and well done they.
 
Can anyone think of a more abhorrent song than the Chelsea champions of Europe one? It goes right through you. I loathe everything about it especially the chavvy way in which it is sung.
I am going to have to watch any Chelsea game with the sound down next season. I'll try and limit that to 2 matches anyway unless we play them in the cups.
 
Come on cracker don't be sour. Nothing we can say will make the Chelsea supporters feel bad at the moment. They're full of beans so congratulate them,that way there's no comeback on you from them.
