Chelsea defending like that is always taking a risk and whilst it works in some games, when it doesn't it gives you a lot to do even to get back into the game, let alone score.

I am all for being cautious WY, but if Chelsea and us both win today and tomorrow (stressing the 'if') we are only a couple of points behind Citeh, one behind the Chavs with them both to play. We may or may not come up short in the end, but we are certainly not out of contact - and surely, at least to ensure we claim a top 4 position, we should aim to keep the challenge up on these two for as long as possible. Psychologically, this has got to be the better way to look at things?

I understand the logic Relayer, but if Chelsea and us both win, we'll still be 4th. If Chelsea lose and we win, we'll be third. For me a higher league position is a greater psychological advantage.

And surely if you think City are still in touch, a draw is the best result here, not a Chelsea win..?

Oh well mate, that's possibly buggered one of best options!!! Lol

Good win for us as city have been underperforming while we have been on a great run so i reckon its unrealsitic to expect us to carry on picking up points at our current rate and expect city to drop more points.

Chelsea on the other hand have coco the clown in charge so 3rd is up for grabs.

Torres coming on with his 4th 'performance-enhancing' change of hairstyle for the season!!

oops....i turned the radio off ( am at work) and assumed.game over ......but it is now!...
...safe to say good win for city?

We just have to win tomorrow night now. If we lose then Chelsea can write this game off as its one of their harder fixtures ticked off. I am sort of dreading tomorrow nights match. You know it will be a horrible match.
