Maybe the manner in which he left was too much for Levy to consider or Villas Boas wasn't keen as he was happy to see VDV leave so Berba may not be his type of player. But hes still fantastic and would.offer more then Ade & Dempsey combined.
Yeah but surely you have to move on in life. When a class player becomes available for a knock down price I think It's a no brainer. I'm really concerned that bloody Arsenal will pip is to fourth again. I would pay a lot of money for 2 wins in our next 2 matches!!
Predictions for City v Chelsea? Hoping for a City win, as whatever some people say, I don't think we have enough to catch them... Hope Lamps gets his 200th.
Aguero that was an awful touch Edit: Now Rodwell giving away a freekick for a fair challenge. Nothing wrong with that tackle. Nothing.
Just seen that Bayern beat Bremen 6-1 yesterday, so they're up to 8 goals conceded in 23 league games. Sloppy.
Clear dive from Hazard. Marriner's been making awful decisions all game, I'd say he's getting around 50% right at the moment, including goalkicks and corners.
Tevez on the bench. Rodwell in midfield. Either Mancini views Chelsea as second rate or hes given up on the title.
Rodwell's been good so far, no idea why he's been booked. I think he was seeking to ensure they controlled the game, if anything it's out of respect to Chelsea. I agree though, I don't think they needed Garcia and Rodwell and I'd have put Milner alongside one of them instead with Tevez on the pitch.
I am all for being cautious WY, but if Chelsea and us both win today and tomorrow (stressing the 'if') we are only a couple of points behind Citeh, one behind the Chavs with them both to play. We may or may not come up short in the end, but we are certainly not out of contact - and surely, at least to ensure we claim a top 4 position, we should aim to keep the challenge up on these two for as long as possible. Psychologically, this has got to be the better way to look at things?
Neither have really gone for it have they, though i do think City have been better. Not sure why im about to give up another 45 minutes of my life watching this dross.
All the more reason for Mancini to field a side that will control the game first and foremost. Mancini now has the team in charge of the game with all the attacking options on the bench to alter the game as they please, it's Chelsea that have the work to do but as we know with Chelsea, they can play poorly, sit back and all of a sudden score a goal to win the game. That's why I think City should have set up more confidently from the off, like you, but Mancini's plan has more sense to it than it has in recent games.
both have been average defensively all season tbf, us aswell but have tightened up since the turn of the year
