Ashley Cole joined Twitter and decided that this was the best response he could think of to Arsenal fans' taunts:

They didn't appreciate it, apparently.

He was 100% correct when saying they can give it but they can't take it.

He was 100% correct when saying they can give it but they can't take it.

It misses the point though. They were saying he's a **** and left for the money, which is at least in part true regardless of the trophies won since. Luckily I can still laugh at the Goons as my FB was covered with Goons showing something similar comparing King and Judas' trophies won after King retired :)

Liverpool don't have a new stadium, though.

Arsenal definitely need to reassess their wage bill and signing practices, in my opinion.
Too many mediocre players on big money and too many inappropriate signings that don't suit the system or style.
Chamakh, Bendtner and Arshavin are all decent players, totally unsuited to how the side sets up, for example.
The former pair seem to thrive on confidence and crosses at height, the latter by playing in a similar role to van der Vaart.
Rarely cross the ball, leave out players even after they've done well and don't play anyone in the hole? Not going to work out for them.

had a good laugh to start the day,on the goon's board they have a poll on will they win a trophy this season,3 goon's think they can win the PL,and they say we're deluded

I think you might find this a bit unbelievable but Taarabt is playing centre midfield in a deep lying playmaker role in a 442 today. Hes marking, tackling and going box to box.

Are his parents at the game, perchance?
Doubtful as its in Indonesia!

Did he get a bang on the head early on, Flyer?

No but he did win a couple of headers last season and got booked for a rash sliding tackle.
I think hes finally "got it" which is something I never thought would happen and I certainly never expected to see him in a defensive midfield role and look good while doing it.

Don't worry, I'm sure he'll throw a wobbly and demand a transfer to Barcelona tomorrow! <laugh>

And now the results of this season's "how many attacking midfielders can we have at once" competition:

1st. Chelski
2nd. Chelski
3rd. Chelski

Frimpong's been charged by the FA with improper conduct, after he called a Spurs fan a 'Scum Yid' on Twitter.
The fan had responded to a tweet by the player asking people to pray for him as he was missing going to church by saying that he'd wished that he'd broken his arms and legs.
Both out of order.

No, but it's probably not going to match Jenkinson's OG from last pre-season.

What happened?

A Malaysian player called Mohd Azmi Muslim scored to put a local XI 1-0 up against Arsenal, apparently.
Someone updated his Wikipedia page immediately to say, "On July 24, 2012 the bloody cont scored a screamer against Arsenal F.C."! <laugh>
