  1. I saw this comment posted on the Gooners' board, in relation to Bale's involvement in our recent friendly, in the USA:-

Such deep bitterness cannot be healthy!

  2. I read the rumour that Whinger is thinking of forcing RvP to stay at AFC until the January transfer window.
    <doh>

That's sure to get the best out of him. Well done, Whinger <ok>

Furthermore, does he really expect any club to pay any fee whasoever when they need only wait another 5 months to get him for free?

The idiocy of that man really does know no bounds.

Blasting someone you don't know, based on a rumour spread by someone else you don't know.....

Did someone mention the word 'idiocy'?

What do you suggest, we only discuss things mentioned under oath, or when we actually see them saying it. It's a sports forum, not a court of law. We comment on what we read.

Gooners criticising divers is like John Terry criticising Apartheid.

But that's not as dumb as coming onto our board with a piss poor attempt at a rebuttal that makes you sound as embittered as it does moronic.

Now that Oscar has become the 37th attacking midfielder to join Chelsea this summer, isn't it about time we checked the fine print of our agreement with Internacional?

  8. Not until you turned up again!!

Bearing in last your quote above on Bale, the phrase 'pots and kettles' comes to mind.
Now **** off back into your little pit

We only had 2 players for that position now that Lampard has declined. What's wrong with that?

Hazard, Marin, The Other Hazard, Oscar, Lampard, Mata, Malouda, Benayoun, De Bruyne, McEahran - a few more than two for that position.

    - Benayoun has no future at Chelsea
    - Josh isn't an attacking midfielder
    - Thorgan Hazard won't be first team he will be in the Under 21 side and then shipped out on loan to continue development.
    - De Bruyne will be deployed as a winger and is going on loan anyway.
    - Malouda is being sold, he's a winger anyway
    - Lampard can't play AM anymore
    - Marin can play there but was bought as a winger and that's where he's played in pre-season

So I make that 3 out and out attacking midfielders. Is that really excessive for a team involved in 6 different competitions this year?

  16. In all seriousness, I fear for RDM. He's got to try to keep everyone happy at the Chavs. Last season, he was able to hide behind AVB, and the little bit of the season that he was in charge he was able to say "look, I've got to play the old guard because safety is our priority." He won't have that excuse now. When better players are getting overlooked by Lampo and Terry, even though they are being run rings round in training, RDM is going to face mutiny among the Chelsea youth. He dare not piss off his two "mates" because he'll know what will happen, then.

I really do see it as a two-horse race between RDM and Brendan Rodgers as to which one will be the first EPL manager to lose his job. I'm putting my money on RDM, unfortunately.

The leading contenders with the bookies in the sack race are Steve Clarke (bizarrely) and Fat Sam, who are both at 6/1.
Rodgers and Di Matteo are 20/1 and 12/1, respectively.
No idea why Adkins is 8/1. Ludicrous.

No. I've got my bed reserved for when Brendan Rodgers loses three games on the trot, and the Mousers round on him like a pack of hungry dogs fighting over a bone.

I actually think I am being fair with the Chavs. Not one of them has come forward and accused me of wumming, nor would I expect any one of them to come out in support of what I say (loyalty is something we all understand and respect, after all). I like RDM. He seems like a top bloke, and I reckon he could be a very decent manager, but I just cannot see him lasting at CFC.
