Another absolute joke of a decision in the United game and their second goal stands despite Mbeumo playing basketball in the build up.

The standard of officiating makes the eyes bleed.
It’s because the law has a subjective element. Which is the problem when enforcing many laws.

There was no question that it was handball.

Had Mbeumo scored, it would have been disallowed, but because another player (Cunha) did, the issue was whether the handball was accidental or not.

From one angle, it looked as though he’d used his arm to control the ball. From the opposite angle, it looked as though he was pulling his arm away from the ball.
It’s entirely subjective whether you interpret that as accidental or not. Only the ref’s opinion counted.

If you don’t want Utd to score, you’ll scream blue murder; if you want Utd to score, you’ve got an argument to support your case.

3-1 now and the result masters little either.

Alonso to Chelsea thing. Shows there is not substitute for ego. Ego demolishes facts. For all the level headed people suggesting Chelsea may not be a great place to be a manager, there's always one that comes along thinking that they can deal with it. I guess they wouldn't be where they are if they didn't think such things.

Of course interested to find out the next way they find to get out of financial difficulty. You can be sure that it will sound illegal, but somehow won't be because of some technicality.

Nope Howe has fielded the strongest side he's put out all season.

Congratulations lads you're staying up

1. Toon can still on paper finish above the Mackems.

2. The latter still have a chance of EL2 next season.

Annoying results for us so far.

Needed Brentford and Brighton to win to put Chelsea out of the equation.

At least Everton lost, they now have very little hope of Europe.

Over to the Toon.
