Yeah they’ve got 40 points now, will probably get a few more too.

As we all suspected, it’s out of Spurs and West Ham.

I wouldn't be surprised if the third team to drop does so with 40+ points this season. I can see West Ham getting 2 wins and a draw from their final fixtures. We know without doubt that we need at least 3 wins. That puts both of us on 40pts.

Has only happened once before in a 38-game season; West Ham in 02/03 with 42pts.

Spurs winning 3 out of 5 when they’ve not won since December.

I just can’t see that happening. Think it might be 1 win, 1 draw and 3 defeats from the rest of the games.

I can't either. Can see lots of draws tbh, maybe even all five games. The by-product of lots of effort but just not enough quality.

Anything less than a win at Wolves and we're gone. Win there and then beat Villa and we'll survive imo as I think that will kickstart a run.

Getting Maddison on the pitch is crucial. Lack of leadership this season has been crippling.

There is actually quite a strong chance all three teams finish on 40pts and it goes to GD.

Forest lose their away games (Sunderland, Chelsea, United), win at home to Newcastle and draw at home to Bmouth. 40pts

West Ham lose at home to Arsenal and away at Newcastle, win at home to Everton and Leeds, and draw away to Brentford. 40pts

We lose at Chelsea and Villa but beat Wolves, Leeds and Everton. 40pts

I don't think this is all that far fetched. Would be unprecedented.

I too can see quite a few draws coming up for everyone and yes, every game recently has been a "must win", but you do feel that Wolves one is massive for us.

Also I've been saying it a lot recently but I do feel Forest are not out of it yet. There will be a massive squeaky bum time for a few teams on the final day... <laugh>

If we don’t beat wolves then it’s all irrelevant. Let’s win that one first and then we can start maybe believing a little more.

West Ham and Forest have harder games on paper this weekend (which I appreciate doesn’t always really mean much) but might add to the hope some of us still hold!
