I travelled in the US before the current licenses were introduced. Every time I checked into a hotel they asked for my licence and then refused to accept it because it didn't have a photo on it.
As well as a photo mine had three dates: my DOB, the date my license was issued, and the date it expired
The look I was giving her after the first thirty seconds was surely enough to suggest I could be tried as an adult...
