When you look back and consider what followed, he wasn’t all that bad. But I’d prefer Glasner or Emery (not Dick).Oh please let it be so...

The problem is that if Utd are going to appoint a coach, the options are limited. But if there is a change of policy (unlikely I concede), then either of these would be capable of taking on the challenge.Emery would be nuts to leave Villa for old Trafford right now even though Utd are a bigger club
Glasner’s style wouldn’t be the Man Utd way and it could end up like Thomas Frank at Spurs with some fans not happy with the style
I think the real issue is which managers want to work for freeThe problem is that if Utd are going to appoint a coach, the options are limited. But if there is a change of policy (unlikely I concede), then either of these would be capable of taking on the challenge.
I fear that the division of all the various roles creates conflict and differences in approach which ultimately makes the system dysfunctional.
SAF was in charge; he coached the players, he had the final say with recruitment, he oversaw the youth system and he knew and worked with all the the staff from the club's hierarchy to the tea ladies - even if he delegated many of the tasks within that to people he trusted. The current philosophy doesn't work and never will. The manager needs to be autonomous.
The championship confirmed. So from possibly being 2 - 0 up the Spammers now go 1 - 2 down. Massive goal that.

Agree with you. Some on the Prem think it’s not a penalty but I don’t see how it’s not as he took out MGW without touching the ballAm I losing my mind here?
West Ham fans were fuming that the penalty was given.
They think it's a 'coming together' and that Gibbs-White was never getting the ball anyway.
Be that as it may, it's a clear penalty IMO.
Areola comes to palm the ball away, gets nowhere near it and ends up whacking Gibbs-White in the face. Penalty.
Not sure what the fuss is about...
If anything, they should be more annoyed with their player for being so clumsy rather than VAR intervening.
