I thought they looked quite ragged for large chunks of that game. How Utd next at home do it'll be interesting if that one does not go according to plan...

Far too early to say either way about how
any day one "on paper" title contender will
fare by the end.

Third of the season gone may give some
hints, but midway is where the stats are
really strong.

All going very pear shaped for Ange...
Is it the end already for Ange?

Football is crazy but even by those standards it would be madness

I don’t enjoy seeing him look so out of depth as he’s a genuinely decent bloke but it’d been pretty obvious to not just the majority of Spurs fans but many rival ones too that Ange’s football just isn’t sustainable in the Premier League. In Europe and elsewhere it could and does work but this league is far more methodical and tactical to allow “just attack, mate” to work.

He has already abandoned his philosophy and set Forest up like he did us in the Europa League.

Trouble is, it still didn't work.

Learning that he inherited a very good side from Klopp! and that maintaining a team at that level is not easy even when you spend a fortune.
literally one third of that squad left this summer some of which was inevitable others baffling .
Personally thought we paid hugely over the odds for Wirtz and Isak and could have used the same money to buy 4 which would help with our lack of squad depth which was papered over last year due to lack of injuries but it was always going to take time to integrate so many new players .
Also Slot seems to have lost the plot considering our 2 best midfielders ended up at CB and RB on saturday

to be fair, you have bought a new CB (young but untested), a pretty expensive right back who is either still injured or slot doesn't trust, a new lb so that shouldf be covered. What other new players do you want :P

apart from the obvious reply to this should point out our young CB is out for the season all would probably starting ahead of Konate who seems to be doing his best to put Teal Madrid off signing him even on a free :emoticon-0114-dull:

Watford have sacked their manager and rehired one of their old managers. Pretty standard.
Their last three results were WWD, though. Strange timing.

He was incredibly depressing and the players hated him. He had no clue.

Owners need to stop messing around so much, but I'd rather have the Pozzos in charge than other alternatives...
