Most of those were stopgaps. The owners don't consider them as managers as such, they're head coaches.
The team won despite of him, not thanks to him. He randomly took players off and misused players, he was incredibly uninspiring.
They basically use the 'find an unknown that'll turn out great' principle like they do for young players, with the occasional dinosaur like Woy when fans are upset. It's a mess...
