I don't think it is flavour of the month. He's done a top job at recruiting the right players and building a brave, high-risk, high-reward system that is also structurally sound too. The fact they're 1 point off the top-4 is testament to the job he's done. Obviously, the pressure at Bournemouth and Spurs would be very different, and he'd be facing a whole other level of scrutiny at Spurs. But there's enough evidence from his management that he deserves a punt at a bigger club.

He guided Rayo Vallecano to promotion from the Segunda División in 2020-21 (via the playoffs). Then cemented their status as a mid table team in the top division. He did this whilst having significantly less resources relative to other clubs and incorporated an entertaining and fearless philosophy that the fans enjoyed.

He's an excellent coach. Bournemouth will struggle to keep hold of him for much longer.

I don’t either. I think he’s the real deal. Ideal for Spurs in many ways. It almost seems too obvious to go for him.

Levy was nudging Poch towards Tielemans over Ndombele when Monaco made Tielemans available for loan

So, want to try again...?
The first window where we had >£100m to spend, we had no DoF and Poch insisted on spending it on Ndombele, Lo Celso, Sessegnon and Clarke. Go figure why Levy lost faith in him

Very prescient of Levy to know how the above
were going to turn out, and give Pochettino the
boot only 4 months after signing then.

Reactions: Citizen Kane.

Levy was surely losing faith with him over the year leading up to that

In hindsight, Hitchen alerting Poch to Tielemans being available and getting shrugged off clearly looks like a test

Apparently West Ham have bid £57 million for villa’s Jhon Duran!
Surely they won’t sell, and surely he wouldn’t leave villa to go there?!
