This VAR 'go look at the monitor' **** is just pointless as every ref just changes their decision regardless. This was a case in point. The original decision was correct but he wouldn't go against the VAR prompt.

Slot has done a really good job so far. A lot of us (myself included) were hoping he'd struggle after filling the shoes and dentures of Klopp, especially after basically not signing anyone in the summer. But the transition has been seamless.

Almost as if having a squad of technically competent
players is at least as important as who the manager is.
