    Mings was a clown! <laugh>
Watching the match on Virgin Media and the pundit Richard Dunne just raised the point that the ref had been getting pissed off with Villas time wasting and thought that was just another ploy. Then he mentioned that they were time wasting against Spurs at the weekend!
    Serves them right! <laugh>

A ref is not entitled to get pissed off. He runs the show after all. Ridiculous penalty nevertheless.

Happy Birthday, hope you have had a great day, but you should know by now that if anyone is gonna let you down it's Spurs.

This is really similar to the Bundesliga ****up that I was discussing with PowerSpurs a month ago:

It's also virtually identical to the Gabriel handball against Bayern last season that wasn't given:

A very happy birthday to you, Smithy.

I’d imagine those candles may have taken a while to blow out! <cheers>

Arsenil with consecutive 1-0 losses before going to Stamford Bridge on Sunday. Shame.

    VAR to ref :

The team is Arsenal and the manager is Arteta.
    You may award the penalty.

Arsenal and City both in poor form. Good for the league and especially Liverpool

I saw that happen at WHL to Steve Perryman
(he similarly thought play had stopped and picked up the ball) .

It's early days, of course, but the Scousers may well win it this season.
City's January spending may be the decider.

Or whether they can navigate thru whatever tough
games they have before their injury list is sufficiently
cleared (the result last weekend no doubt will have
Pep worried the gap could be a repeat of Poool 2019-20) .

It makes it a lot more interesting when the top teams are losing. And it hurts them more because they’re not used to it. Especially when they didn’t see it coming.
And for the failures, we can enjoy the Schadenfreude - let’s face it, we’ve nothing else.

Didn't Arsenal get let off the hook for exactly the same thing against Bayern last season?
