With some knowledge of the art of camouflage I can advise you that the colour red is almost impossible to discern against the background of the pitch. Thus the referee clearly couldn't see the United player doing the obvious push, it would appear to him that the Fulham player fell over in that odd manner completely of his own accord. As we know, the British Army used to dress in red, but it was soon considered unsporting as the enemy could not see us, hence we changed to khaki and then a disruptive pattern. It can be the only explanation for why teams in red get away with such stuff.
