At one point I was coming to terms with Liverpool winning the first ever domestic Treble - with a good chance of converting it to a Quadruple - and reconciling myself to the fact that although this would undoubtedly make them the most successful team in English football history, with an achievement which could only ever be equalled, but never bettered, they are at least achieving it on merit due to a fine manager and not through abusing FFP...,,.
Then City scored 3 goals in 6 minutes and realising that this might be the lesser of two evils, enjoyed the Schadenfreude for a short while before I had to concede that this was just a f***ing no win situation.
And unlike the last time Utd were utter shyte, there was no consolation of regular F.A. Cup success.
Just F.A.
I hope you enjoyed your day - I know you did.
Football, bloody hell <nahnah>
City beating Liverpool is a win for us, a small but important one.
Liverpool are on 19 League titles, we are on 20 it would not be great for them to catch us <laugh>
Congrats boys you made the cut<laugh>

Whilst City and Liverpool are undoubtedly better, to be fair, they also didnt have both their first team full backs out for most of the season, they didnt sign a £100m lamp post who flopped harder than 9 inch weiner, and they also werent sanctioned by the government and were threatened with closure.

My heart bleeds

I’m probably in a minority but I hope Jose wins. I don’t hold much beef or as much of a grudge with him as some do.

Although the downside I suppose is that his track record will have been to have a won a trophy with every club he’s managed… except Tottenham… So we’ll no doubt face some stick for that should he do so.

Maybe this is my bias coming into play, but I can’t stand the bloke and revel in his misfortunes. I find him insufferable. Feyenoord look overawed by the occasion, so I don’t expect them to win tonight, but I’ll be smiling like a Cheshire Cat if Roma **** this up…

I took a liking to him on a personal level when he took over. Provided some comical moments.

Just a shame the football by and large was ****, wasn’t entirely his fault as he had some absolute ****e to manage but he certainly didn’t help himself much. We were silly binning him before the final though, regardless of our form in the league beforehand, the man has a knack of pulling it out the bag in them and I reckon he would’ve relished getting one more over Pep.

Decent final to be fair, Feyenoord can be gutted after that second half though, gave it all but couldn’t get the lucky break.
