So is it the case that he is chasing that loan back because otherwise he won't get a penny from the sale of a club he raised from middling relevance to a global force?

It appears that a "letter of the law" argument is being made
whereby repayment of a loan to a person who is being
sanctioned via financial restriction, is not the same as them
profiting from the sale of an asset (and therefore should
not be be subject to the bounds of the attack) .

Which of course conflicts with the desire to prevent Roman
receiving a penny via any channel.

So......just like Spurs in the CL Final, the Spanish side decided to give Liverpool the tie.In another country, this would be known as "Trumped" up charges!!!!!!

Interesting that if City progress tonight we will have had an all-English final every year since 2019 bar 2020 in which the format was changed half way through anyway.

That would be akin to the England league domination
of the "champions cup" from 1977-85.

It is of course occurring due to the harsh "natural selection"
environment that the PL creates, but I expect UEFA to
devise "measures" that prevent this being a persistent thing
(their FFP stuff was a first step on this - until PSG effed it up
for them) .

Reactions: District Line
Laporte faking a head injury to try and get Modric sent off. Both booked.
How Casemiro gets away with a two-footed foul from behind is beyond me, though:
