Zaha has been racially abused on social media after Palace's win over City.
Didn't see the game and nothing justifies it, of course, but what the **** is that about?
Is it just because they won and he's the main Palace player?

The man goes to Anfield with a bunch of primarily Championship/ bottom half Prem players and grabs a 2-2 draw.

Nuno has two of the best attacking players in Europe amongst a much more expensively assembled squad and can’t get them to hit a shot on target against a side who got thumped 5-0 the week before.

Probably, that and he scored the first goal? Was it him who got brought down by laporte for the red too.. also hes probably the most dislikeable person at palace, always flopping over and moaning.

Anyway besides that football hooligans who cant take a loss and generally being a disgrace. Not sure why there seems to be more of this disgraceful behaviour. More reported on? Copycat trolls on the internet?

The man actually has a pattern of play with his players. They move the ball out beautifully from defence. The only thing I worry about potter is if he can break a team down when they pack a defence. They have no problem cutting through on the counter but seen a few games whereby they create **** all and pass around a lot. Probably down to as you say having championship standard players

Give him Son and Kane and he’ll probably find breaking down packed defences easier, lol. His team were something like fourth for XG last season weren’t they?

Though he’s too much of a sensible choice for this club at the moment. We’ll just go and hire Bruce or something when we bin Nuno.

Re Zaha...
He is a cheat. Dives as soon as he is touched.
He also come across as an arrogant twat.
Just my view not a fact.

I have the same view of Vardy, Maddison and Grealish.

So I would call them all arrogant diving twats.

Only a **** brings skin colour into it.

Should find them, bring them on the pitch at half time, make them lay on their backs in the centre circle and allow everyone in the crowd the opportunity to take the knee...right into their bollocks.

There endeth the simplistic thought of the day from RCL.

I was going to say that he also prefers the 3-5-2, but I checked their lineup and it was 4-2-3-1.
Maybe he's auditioning? <whistle>

They do the exact same "initiate contact then throw yourself on the ground and attack the ref" dive.
Then they blow up at anyone that challenges them on it and try to get them sent off.

Do you mean Vardy, Zaha, etc on the pitch to have their nuts squashed or the ignorant racist trolls. I reckon it should be both sets. Zaha does not deserve the racist abuse but he certainly deserves abuse for being a cheating, moaning git

Just not of this variety.

His particular brand of cheating has been normalised though, to the point of it being almost normal.
If you don't go down when fouled, then you won't get the decision.
Moura gets fouled about 4 or 5 times for every free-kick, because he tries to keep going.

Fred's booking yesterday shows that you can what you like after an initial booking foul during a move.
It happened in another game recently, too.
Pull a player down and the advantage is played? May as well pull the next bloke down, too.
Should be two yellows, but that's not going to happen.

Just further proof that social media is a terrible vehicle when it is being driven morons and cretins and football as a whole offers plenty of these sorts of people who are all too willing to prove this.

wow just watched MOTD. Brighton nearly put Liverpool to the sword and were creating so many chances.

Glad Levy kept the bats in his wallet

I still have big question marks over Potter but it’s starting to feel like he would be a logic choice and good fit for the Spurs dna and attacking attractive football.

Like you say, the club are more likely to appoint a Steve Bruce type than him though <laugh>

Wouldn't surprise me if there were yet more behind the scenes discussions about the ESL involving us ... so they don't give a toss about things at the moment cos it won't impact on the club's future.

Would at least explain the complete inaction over this farcical situation from Levy and the board.

we've had managers sacked for far less by Enic.

I watched the PSG game and they played sideways ,backwards and their left winger kept giving the ball away. The opposition went through the PSG defence like a knife through butter, but two Di Maria acts got them the points. Great manager Paris have got. I wonder......?

Barca drew 1-1 with Alaves. Their attendance was 37,278. Their capacity is 99,354.

IIRC covid guidelines in Spain restrict public arenas to one third of their capacity so as to allow for social distancing etc.

Which is just as well, as tbh even without covid Barca would struggle to get more than 50% of the seats filled.
