Both Porto v Atletico and Milan v Atletico were just unbelievable. In both cases I'd have genuinely have told my players to walk off the pitch under the circumstances. There's a difference between bad calls going against you and a clear agenda at play - Atletico have been gifted 4 points when they should have 1 at best.

That's some weird editing in the commentary. I'm sure he's saying it shouldn't be a red. Very soft.
Dubious handball, too. Hits his hand, but it just bounces up as he's closing down. Harsh.
I'm normally a fan of the ref, too. He's a bit strict, but he gets a lot right and he's consistent.

Seemed to me that on close review Lemar handles the ball first then the Milan player second. Very rare to see a call like that given that late in the game, especially against a home team.

Yeah, you're right. The Atletico player hits it into his arm with his own. I missed that.

Ole's a twat, but he's spot on here.

Nothing that other teams haven't had to put up with. The difference is that when it happens to ManU it's suddenly a special case. I remember for years when SAF had it pretty much his own way at OT - and we all know how many dodgy decisions that encompassed - some foreign ref had the temerity to send one of his players off in a CL match. He went absolutely batshit crazy. You know, the sort of thing you are expected to put up with when it goes against you in favour of United (as it usually does). I can't remember too much about the actual foul, but I don't think it was an unreasonable decision anyway.

So basically no sympathy from me.

Happened to us 10+ years ago, playing Inter at the Giuseppi Meazza on Wednesday and Everton on Saturday lunchtime

I seem to recall that, when brought up on Old606, we got told to stop moaning...
We have had worse. Sevilla away on a Thursday and Chelsea on the Saturday lunchtime game on Saturday
