A bunch of injures in a short space of time coupled with him being rushed back into the team once he was cleared cost him half a yard of pace, and after that he's lost his edge

It's similar to what happened with Fernando Torres

I still think that he can be one, but he needs to be used correctly.
He's still miles off the pace right now and Mason still managed to get some decent performances out of him in a non-ideal system.

He was good against Wolves and made two nice passes against Leeds, that's about it.
