That Soucek guy never seems to get a mention by media or pundits but he’s been an unreal signing for West Ham since he joined last January.

Defensive mid with 7 league goals this season, think he got a few last season too. He’s a real problem from set pieces/ crosses as he’s quality in the air. Some good scouting there, never even heard of him beforehand.

He was playing in the Czech league for Slavia Prague beforehand. Him, alongside Vladimir Coufal, who they also got from Slavia Prague, have both been excellent signings. Soucek came to West Ham at 24 and Coufal at 27, so they were hardly youngsters, as well. Both have taken to the Prem like a duck to water. Incredible finds.

He and Coufal have been immense, bought the winning attitude with them.

If you take penalties away then he’s scored the same amount of league goals as Vardy since he joined Wet Spam

Would now be a bad time to mention they signed Soucek because their initial target, Gedson Fernandes, turned them down to join us?
