The double jeopardy rule doesn't count if it's a deliberate foul in the box, which the ref deemed it to be.
I think it was outside the box, but that would still be a red.
I've no idea how he's escaped a ban. They must be saying that it wasn't a foul, which is a bit ludicrous.
There's a logic to it, but it's a pretty bad one: in rugby, if the ref consults the TMO and gives a 50/50 call in favour to one side, he'll try to give a 50/50 call to the other so it evens out

That's sort of what this decision is trying to do: sure, you conceded a penalty, but the player's no longer suspended so you're fine...right?

PSG have sacked their manager, Poch will be watching his phone like a hawk , if he gets the call my worries are with PSG spending power he will come after Kane or Son in the summer

That’s brilliant news for Poch. I’ve long said the PSG job would be perfect for him and surely he’s got to be a front runner for it. Has history with the club, out of work so easy for PSG to negotiate, his brand of football should do well in Ligue 1 and there’s a strong chance he’ll lift his trophy curse.

When you have an oil rich country backing you FFP is no problem ask Citeh
Life 1 has a very strict FFP system of their own, and certainly aren't afraid of hitting the bigger clubs as they've slapped Monaco and Marseille in recent seasons for non-compliance, although as with all FFP measures they always come down so much harder on the smaller clubs

Poor Tuchel sacked just months after guiding his club to their first ever CL final
Falling out with Neymar and Mbappe at the exact same time will have that effect

It has to be said this is hardly a bolt from the blue, as he and DoF Leonardo have been sniping at each other in public for months, for example this exchange from October where he, on behalf of the club, is telling Tuchel to shut up and do his job

It also says a lot that Dortmund hardly had anything nice to say about Tuchel after he left in 2017, especially after he managed to send a text message slagging offf Dortmund DoF Michael Zorc to...I think you can guess how this sentence is going to end
