I know it's still very early days, but with the way other teams are playing, and the results we're seeing, you'd surely have to fancy your chances of *gulp* doing the 'unthinkable'? I regrettably think you've got a very good chance.

Only 8 pts separating the top 13, with nearly a third of the season gone.
Come back to discuss this after week 19 is done and dusted.

You’re right, which is why I said it’s early, but from what I’ve seen so far, most of the top sides haven’t been particularly impressive in both results or performances.

<laugh> I wish I was doing reverse psychology but I do unfortunately think you have a good shot. Liverpool are the only team I see standing in your way. Maybe Chelsea too but I’m not wholly convinced by them yet.
Chelsea are very strong. Very big squad with a lot of quality and good youth players coming through, too.
Warner and Havertz will improve as the adjust. I think they're favourites, despite the fact that they're currently losing to Everton.

Really? You fancy Chelsea over the dippers? I know Liverpool have their injuries, however, they still have enough firepower to dispatch most teams with ease.

Chelsea do have quality players, and I’m sure it’ll click for them eventually. However, they also have a very inexperienced manager and a group who haven’t completely gelled yet. They seem to struggle against teams that defend deep and counter, and have made a few individual errors this season.

Liverpool are struggling with injuries and I think it'll catch up with them.
Klopp's spending too much time obsessing with Chris Wilder, too. He'll just start stalking him full-time soon.

Anyones, it will be down to injuries and the next window. What I would say about Spurs is that GLC and TN'D are hitting form at the right time. In addition, at last we have game changers on the bench. Bale, Lucas, with Dele and Coco still to come.

I suspect that this season the champions will finish with a pts total in the low 80s.

How far the contenders go in UEFA / FA cup land before it
means they fall by the wayside remains to be seen.
