And why not for heavens sake, they have both been superb so far this season - James has been a revelation did anyone really expect him to be this good, I hope our new signings hit the ground running like him. And as for Calvert-Lewin when you score goals at the levels he is currently you right your own headlines, I am pleased for them both and hope they carry it on into the merseyside derby.

Tbh I’m not surprised how good he’s been. Madrid had/ have an overload of elite attacking midfielders, Isco’s still there more or less catching the last 15-20 mins of a game whereas James and Bale were spectators most of the time. These guys are top, top players playing roles that the likes of Dan James does at Utd.

A few of us at the time did say James would’ve been a really good Eriksen replacement too - certainly showing that so far.

Props to Everton and Ancelotti, looks like they’ve finally spent wisely this window after pissing £100ms on average dross the last few years.

How much of that is due to the virus forcing clubs like Madrid and PSG to reassess their hording of players and slightly less wealthy clubs trimming their squads as the lack of gate receipts comes home.

I'm no fan of WetSpam, but I'm a huge fan of that result. I was out walking and tuned into TalkShite for Rushden and Glendenning - one of their only good programmes but instead got the preamble to the Leicester / WetSpam game. What I heard was Danter going into sexual ecstasy over Leicester of all things. Is he known for this? He just couldn't stop his praise, and was sure they are a "top 4 side". There was also a queue of clips in praise of Vardy. Kleenex all round before the match I think. So big ha ha. Love it when the presenters demonstrate they don't know what they're talking about.

A quick look at the match stats suggest that the Spanners
defence completely neutralised Vardyball, and Leicester had
no incisive MF attack as a plan B.

Arsenal take the lead. That’s that, then.

not a good start to the season for Sheff Utd. <yikes>
